English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

   Beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of English instruction for adults.  Listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills will be covered in FREE class sessions.

Monday/Wednesday  6:30-8:30 p.m.

 

FREE ESOL classes are also offered Monday and Wednesday morning

at the North Royalton Library, 14600 State Road, North Royalton. 

Monday/Wednesday   10-11:30 a.m.

 

U.S. Citizenship Test Preparation Class

     Citizenship preparation classes will be held for those who would like to become United States citizens.  You will learn about the history and government of the United States and practice sample questions for the citizenship test.  FREE 2-hour program.

Transition Learning Center (TLC)

   Instruction geared toward assisting special needs students with academic and social skills development.  Must be age 18 years and up.  FREE class.

Tuesdays    6:30-8:00 pm

 

General Education Development (GED) Preparation

   It’s never too late to continue your education.  You’ll come out ahead.  Adults 16 and over who have not completed high school can review reading comprehension, social studies, writing, mathematics, and science for the General Education Development (GED) Test.

Monday/Wednesday     6:30-8:30 pm

Tuesday/Thursday    10:00 -11:30 am

 

GED Practice Test

   The GED office recommends that prior to attempting to take the GED examination you take the Official GED Practice Test .  Through this method, you can gain a better understanding of your strengths and weaknesses.  At the same time you can earn a fee waiver to save you $55. (Fee for Official Test)

   Individuals under 19 years of age are required to have the signature of the Superintendent of your school district and parent/guardian on your application.  The application and parental consent forms are available at www.ode.state.oh.us.
