SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMS
En Garde: Fencing for Beginners
(Ages 8 and up)
By Thomas Nagy
Have you ever wished that you could take up the sword like D’Artagnon? Well you can! Fencing is a safe, modern sport, which traces its’ history back to the duel. This beginner program for boys and girls will have you parrying your opponent’s attacks and scoring touches on the target. Fencing improves hand-eye coordination, strength, agility, confidence, and teaches social skills and manners.
