-Weekly Ski Club Info what to bring and pick up time for parents-

New York Ski Trip for Saturday, Feb. 9th has been cancelled

 
 

1) Activity Web Page:  Activity Link on the Center Middle School Web Page.    Here you will find Announcements as to whether skiing is cancelled for a particular ski day due to weather, etc.  Please DO NOT call Brandywine to see if the club is attending.  We will post it as soon as we make the decision and it will be on this page.

 2) Storage / Pick-up:

    a.  Equipment can be brought to school in the morning and stored in the music room (121)

    b. EQUIPMENT SHOULD BE IN A BAG CMS will not be responsible for scratches, etc.

    c. Buses leave CMS at 3:10 p.m. and will return to Center Middle School around 8:30 p.m.

    d. Bring all your homework, books, and belongings with you to the bus because the School will be locked when we return.

    e. PARENTS:  When picking up your son/daughter, please wait for them in the Parking Lot. DO NOT block the bus lane in the front of the school.

3) Tickets:  All tickets and pass cards are the responsibility of the ticket holder and lost tickets and pass cards will not be replaced without good cause.  In the event that Brandywine does replace a lost ticket/pass card, a replacement charge will be assessed.  Only the person issued the ticket/pass card is allowed to use them. Tickets/pass cards are not transferable. Weekly hanging tickets will be collected every night as student gets on the bus. DO NOT bring your freebie card!

4) Dress:  Dress in layers.  Dress for the weather – remember, body heat is not retained by bulk, but by the type of clothing material.  Winter Jacket, Hat/Cap, Insulated Gloves, Ski Socks (one pair), and Ski Pants are encouraged but not required. Helmets are not provided but recommended. 

5) Discipline:

     a. All school rules are in effect.

     b. If a situation arises that may result in you being late for the bus,    

 please notify an advisor before you become late. Late to the bus may result in lost time the following week.

     c. Good behavior is expected.  Repeated offenses will result in loss of Ski Privileges – No refund.

     d. Tickets have been taken from students by Ski Patrol for exhibiting a lack of self-control and/or endangering other skiers and replaced with a

        Red Ticket.  A second offense results in loss of Ski Privileges – NO Refund.

6) Your Responsibility Code:

 Always stay in control and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.  People ahead of you always have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
